Transit Challenge: Play Bingo, Earn Rewards!

Now you can earn rewards by playing Bingo with a transportation twist! Starting December 8, 2025, you'll have two weeks to complete three tiles in a row, column, or diagonal on your Transit Challenge Bingo card using the GoMyWayVA™ app.

After each related action taken in the GoMyWayVA™ app, you'll get to play a tile on your Transit Challenge card, moving you one step closer to earning 5 reward Coins. Coins can be spent on gift cards to stores and restaurants.

How to Play the Transit Challenge

GoMyWayVA™ helps you find and get to transit options  — like going to a Park-and- Ride lot, biking and walking — to find the best, most efficient way to connect to the public transit of your choice. The Transit Challenge considers walking to a bus stop, a transit trip; and cycling or driving to a Park-and-Ride lot to board the bus, an intermodal trip. Just follow these steps to play or watch our video:

·       Tap the 🏆 on the GoMyWayVA™ app’s landing page.

·       You’ll be taken to the Achievements page, where you can check out the Transit Challenge.

·       Tap any Tile to read about the action associated with it (for example, “Take a transit trip”).

·       After you’ve used GoMyWayVA™ to complete a Challenge action, you’ll receive an invitation to play your next Tile.

·       Simply double tap any colored Tile to learn more or to play it.

Keep using the GoMyWayVA™ app to complete your card and earn your rewards!

In addition to the Bingo game, you can start earning the Transit Champ Badge by completing transit trips in the app. Stay tuned for more ways to play and earn rewards by using GoMyWayVA™!

Challenge Tips and Rules:

• You must register for a GoMyWayVA™ account to play (guest users are not eligible).

• Have you completed your Explorer Challenge yet? If you see it in your Challenges page, either play it or let it expire to see the Transit Challenge (The Explorer Challenge expires 7 days after account registration).

• Go to the Challenges page to see your active Challenge. You will have until December 22, 2025, to start the Transit Challenge and two weeks to complete it.

• You must use the Trip Planner feature for your transit trip to activate the "Take a Transit Trip" or “Take an Intermodal Trip” Bingo Tiles.

• Transit trips must be at least half a mile using the Trip Planner to activate the “Take a Transit Trip” or “Take an Intermodal Trip” Bingo Tiles.
